A change to your smile
Concerns about alignment, colour, shape or spacing. We’ll explore what can be achieved and whether a smaller change may be enough.

Smile Makeover with Dr. Vik
A smile makeover isn't one treatment — it's the right combination in the right order. From cosmetic improvements to full-mouth rehabilitation for more complex needs, I plan your care around appearance, comfort and function.
Cosmetic changes · Restorative care · Full-mouth rehabilitation
Is this for you?
You may know exactly what you want to change, or simply feel that your teeth no longer feel like you. We’ll start there.
Concerns about alignment, colour, shape or spacing. We’ll explore what can be achieved and whether a smaller change may be enough.
Worn, damaged or heavily restored teeth may need more than a cosmetic approach. I consider the remaining tooth structure, bite and comfort together.
Missing teeth or several concerns at once can call for a coordinated rehabilitation plan. We’ll discuss the options, the stages involved and whether input from another clinician is appropriate.
The ABC approach
A central part of how I plan cosmetic smile makeovers. Where appropriate, improving position and colour first can reduce the restorative work needed.
Start with position and bite. Invisalign can help create the alignment and spacing for the next stages of your plan.
Explore Invisalign ↗Consider the shade of your natural teeth. Where whitening is suitable, it can be planned before matching new restorations.
Explore whitening ↗Refine shape and detail with bonding or porcelain where needed, preserving healthy tooth structure wherever possible.
Beyond ABC
Sometimes your smile needs a wider plan. Explore how we can bring the different parts of your care together.

Porcelain restorations
Veneers, crowns and other restorations can form part of a plan for worn, damaged or heavily restored teeth. We consider the remaining tooth structure, your bite and the appearance you’d like to achieve.

Missing teeth
Replacing missing teeth may be part of your makeover. We’ll assess whether implants are suitable and discuss alternatives, how treatment fits with your other care, and the maintenance involved.

Alignment and bite
Alignment can play an important role in more involved care, not just cosmetic changes. Where appropriate, we plan tooth position and spacing alongside the restorations that may follow. Suitability depends on your assessment.

Full-mouth rehabilitation
When several teeth need attention, we look at comfort, function and appearance together. Your plan may combine restorative treatment, alignment and tooth replacement in agreed stages, with input from other clinicians where appropriate.

What to expect
A clear next step at every stage. Time to ask questions, consider your options and decide what feels right for you.
We talk about your priorities, previous experiences and any concerns. How your teeth feel and function matters as much as their appearance.
I examine your teeth, gums and bite, with photographs, scans or other investigations where needed. This helps identify what needs attention before cosmetic treatment.
We discuss suitable options, including alternatives and no treatment, alongside benefits, risks, fees and likely timescales. Any visual simulation illustrates possibilities, not a promised result.
Your care proceeds in agreed stages, with reviews along the way. If your needs or the plan change, we’ll discuss what that means before proceeding.
We plan ongoing reviews, home care and any retention or protective appliances you may need. Restorations may require maintenance, repair or replacement over time.

No — and this is the biggest misconception I correct. Many of my makeovers are Invisalign, whitening and light bonding, with no porcelain at all.
Veneers join the plan when shape, proportion or colour changes are significant — but they're rarely the first step. Alignment and whitening often dramatically reduce how much restorative work is needed.
I design the sequence around what creates the best foundation: typically alignment before whitening, and whitening before bonding or porcelain. Each stage makes the next more predictable and more conservative.
I plan the full sequence at your consultation, so you can see exactly how each stage builds toward the final result.
Yes. If teeth are missing, implant planning is built into the wider sequence — position, timing and restoration all affect the aesthetic outcome.
Implants have the longest lead time, so I usually start them early while the other stages are planned around them.
A whitening-and-bonding plan might take a few weeks. A case involving alignment, whitening and porcelain could take 12 to 18 months. Cases with implants can take longer.
I'll give you a realistic timeline upfront. The goal is a result that lasts — which sometimes means taking the time to do it right rather than rushing an aesthetic shortcut.
Usually not. Most of my makeovers improve function as well as appearance — a better bite, replaced missing teeth, restored worn surfaces.
A well-planned makeover leaves you with teeth that look great and work properly for years to come.
